ON OUR BIKES...

Our staff at Humidity Solutions – experts in humidity control for for a wide range of industries – took part in a different challenge this weekend.

Instead of specifying humidifiers and dehumidifiers, we cycled from our market-leading supplier Vapac in the West Midlands, to the Humidity Solutions office in Leatherhead, Surrey for Cancer Research UK.

In total, the team cycled 273km, with 2,601m of climbing and a total time on the bike of over 20 hours: a truly mental and physical challenge for everyone involved. To date team have raised over £7,000 for Cancer Research UK, a huge 140% over the initial £5,000 target. We would like to thank the 131 different donators who made this event and the cycle such a big success. 

Cancer Research UK aims to lets everyone enjoy a longer, happier life without the fear of cancer. Drawing on 120 years of experience and recently celebrating over 1 million saved lives, Cancer Research UK has been at the forefront of trialing new medications, developing new treatments and further our understanding of cancer. In the UK someone of diagnosed with cancer every 2 minutes. In the last 40 years, cancer survivial rates have doubled thanks to efforts like those made by Cancer Research UK.
