The background
Our client, Rentokil are experts in pest control and property care solutions for homes and businesses across the UK. They came directly to Humidity Solutions requiring closer humidity control within their scientific labs. After an initial phone consultation with our humidification expert Simon, it was clear that they needed to replace their electrode humidifiers with resistive technology.
The solution
Due to hard water conditions where they are based, the scale build up in their electrode humidifiers was causing them to lose close humidity control. As a reverse osmosis/ softer is not compatible with electrode technology, Simon advised them to upgrade their units and specified four SKE4 Neptronic resistive humidifiers. This gave the customer the ability to add a reverse osmosis unit later down the line, to further improve the system.
Humidity Solutions provided a full turnkey solution for this project by advising, supplying, installing and commissioning all of the units into the facility. This solution has given Rentokil has resolved their issue by providing closer humidity control and less maintenance.
